Not much to say about the 122-90 loss in Chicago, really.
Sixers (21-34, 382) had their butts kicked for fourty-eight minutes by a red hot Bulls team, that had his sixth win in its last seven games.
The Gibson-Miller-Warrick tro completely outplayed all of our our big men, dominating the paint, always finding easy baskets or second chance opportunities.
Their guards' 8/15 from three point land did the rest.
Bulls had seven players in double figure, enough said.
THREE ANSWERS
1) No, Brand can't finish around the rim: the amount of missed putbacks, fumbled balls etc is becoming pretty embarassing even for me, that had his back (?) a lot of times this year. No lift, no explosion. And not everybody is falling for his shot fakes, also.
2) Yes, Kapono is completely out of shape and looks lost. His last field goal made was on Dec 31st (!!!) vs the Clippers: he's 0/11 in the seven games he played in January and February (56 minutes...).
3) Yes, Iguodala did his part also in Chicago, too bad he didn't get much help from his team mates, with the exception of Young, maybe (more after the jump)
THREE QUESTIONS
1) Where can these Bulls go? I think they can make some noise in the playoffs. I always liked Warrick a lot, this year he looks improved, especially with his mid range shot, and adds atheticism to a good frontcourt.
2) How about the 17-0 Bulls run when all the starters checked back in the second quarter? From 39-38 (4.37 left) to 56-38 with Jrue, Iverson, Iguodala, Brand and Sam in.
3) How did our zone defense work? Bad. Too static. Bulls attacked it with patience, sharing the ball, and eventually always finding good, open shots, especially from the corners. And they hit them all, which doesn't hurt.
REASONS
Why we lost the game
How about we got totally dominated?
In the words of Bulls' announcers (Stacey King + another dude): "Philly should be a better defensive team than it is... surprising that they aren't'". Welcome to Jordanland, guys.
To be optimistic
Uhm... I really can't find one tonight. Ok, maybe Speights' 7 rebounds in 20 minutes (after he collected zero in 16 min vs the Spurs) is a good sign.
To be worried
122 points are a season high for the Bulls. Meeks is continuing in his Willie Green's impersonation, with two horrible, rushed shots in garbage time.
Now at Golden State, Phoenix, Lakers.

At least we have players that can defy gravity... and I don't mean Iguodala with his great hops. I mean Speights- just look at that picture.
