Unfortunately (?) the 105-107 home loss to Miami was blackouted on Int'l League Pass broadband, so I couldn't "enjoy" it.

So it was just about watching highilights, reading recaps bla bla bla.. same old story, like always in these cases. Unfortunately, this time for real, I think it's only the 3rd or 4th game that I couldn't catch this year.

Yes, I watched nearly all the crap that Sixers (27-54, .333) provided their sorry ass fans worldwide all season, including nearly each of the 29 home losses - vs 12 wins, 3rd worst record in the League.

Fan 'appreciation' night was perhaps only slightly different, as they at least showed up to play and surrendered only in the final seconds. That's also unusual, uh?

THREE ANSWERS

1) Yes, another last second shot bricked by Iguodala. But I have to be fair, that was a pretty tough situation and he had tied the game with a huge three with 20 seconds left to play. so I'll try to dedicate a post-seaon article to this subject, that to me is very interesting.

2) No, not smart defense on that last play. Leaving Haslem all alone in the corner for a (pretty) confortable baseline jumper? Rotations were slow after Wade drove past Iguodala and Sammy came late. Not sure if was Sammy to have contest that, though...

3) No, PLEASE NO LARRY BROWN... how about moving FORWARD ??? This franchise really loves to look (& go) back.. I've read something about Billy King as well, WTF.... no Roy Hinson ???? (more after the jump)

THREE QUESTIONS

1) Will we stop letting Iguodala shoot technicals one day? I never saw a guy averaging 73.1 % from the line shooting techs. The team average is 75%, Iguodala shot 5/10 vs Miami.

2) How many players have a better free throw percentage than Iguodala? SIX !!!! Williams (82%), Green (83%), Carney (84%), Brand (73.8%) and Speights (73.6%). I'm not considering Iverson (82%).

Need more evidence that coaching was horrible? I know it's not a big deal, but it's another sign of the mess we were in all year and the lack of personality of this coach.

3) What do career highs for Meeks (points, 21) and Jrue (assists, 13) mean?

The first, not so much, I'm afraid: he can score in meaningless game, fine. I'm not impressed. Best case scenario, Meeks becomes another Willie Green: let's just hope he won't find another Billy King to give him a six year deal... I can live with him as 8th-9th man off the bench and at a rookie contract price.

But Jrue is continuing to progress nicely, it's safe to say he's the sweetest note in this awful season. Is Holiday ready to get the keys next year? Probably yes, considering Sixers won't play for a title in 2010/11.... I'd take the risk, the kid looks almost ready.

REASONS

Why we lost the game

Uh, outplayed in the last posssessions again ???

To be optimistic

Only one game left, let's get buried by the Magic quickly so that we can move on, fire Jordan and start to think about a decent coach and our next pick as soon as possible.

To be worried

Brown's possible return really scares me, I have to be honest. In whatever role.

The Weasel is a great coach, just let him coach. In Charlotte, anywhere else, just not here.

I don't want to see Speights traded for Ratliff, Lou Williams for Raja Bell, Green starting 82 games etc etc... Sixers, manage the right way !!!
